Spirit Level TAPARIA

A spirit level, also known as a bubble level or a bubble gauge, is a tool used in construction, carpentry, metalworking, and various other trades to determine if a surface or object is perfectly horizontal (level) or vertical (plumb). It consists of a sealed, transparent tube containing a liquid, often alcohol, with a bubble inside.

The tube is mounted in a frame, and the liquid inside the tube helps to indicate the levelness of a surface. When the level is placed on a surface, the bubble within the liquid moves to the highest point of the tube due to gravity. If the bubble rests between two parallel lines or marks in the tube’s center, it indicates that the surface being measured is level or plumb. If the bubble is off to one side, it signifies that the surface is tilted or not level.

Spirit levels come in various sizes, ranging from small pocket-sized versions to longer ones used for larger projects. They can have one or multiple vials (tubes) set perpendicular or parallel to each other, allowing for the measurement of different orientations simultaneously.

These tools are fundamental for ensuring accuracy and precision in construction, carpentry, and other tasks requiring straight or level surfaces, such as installing shelves, framing, laying foundations, aligning appliances, and more.
